Save the complete production context
A saved Production Plan preserves plan name, selected Recipes and Builds, selected Products, individual target quantities, target units, scaling method, multipliers, case-rounding rule, display preferences, notes, Material requirements, Packaging requirements, cost summary, revenue, Gross Profit, and created and updated dates.
A Production Plan is created from the Scaling workflow but remains available as a saved record that can be reopened and updated.

Save Plan
Updates the active Production Plan.
Save As New
Creates a copy with a new Plan ID and name.
New
Starts a blank Production Plan after handling unsaved changes.
Duplicate
Creates a new plan from an existing saved record.
Know when source records have changed
A saved Production Plan may reference specific Recipe, Build, or Product versions. When reopening a plan, the system may show that a newer version is available.

Use Saved Version
Keep the original version referenced by the plan.
Update to Current Version
Recalculate using the latest Recipe, Build, or Product.
Review Changes
Compare versions before deciding.
The system does not silently recalculate a saved Production Plan with different source versions.
