Planned production is only part of the story
Knowing what you planned to make matters, but it doesn't tell you what actually happened. Without recording actual quantities, lots, and damage, inventory can drift and production history is hard to reconstruct.

Production Tracking records the actual quantity produced for each item in a Production Plan, along with lot numbers and any damaged product. When production is completed, CostFoundry updates the inventory used and the Finished Products produced.
Materials and Packaging consumed are based on the actual quantity produced, and good finished units are added to Finished Product Inventory.
